Lata denies report
LONDON, JUNE 28. Noted playback singer, Ms. Lata Mangeshkar,
today denied reports that she would perform in Pakistan to raise
funds for the Pakistan Cricket Board. ``It's kite flying. What
have I got to do with (Pakistan) cricket? My hands are already
full in India. I have no plans to perform in Pakistan,'' she said
adding that she had declined once to perform in a concert in
Pakistan in memory of the late singer, Noor Jehan.
