Agarkar leaves for South Africa
MUMBAI, SEPT. 26. Ajit Agarkar today left for South Africa to
join the Indian cricket team for the triangular series.
Agarkar, who was summoned from Nairobi to attend the fitness test
at Wankhede stadium here on September 22 and 23, could not go
along with his Indian teammates on September 24 as his visa was
not ready. Agarkar was in Nairobi to assist the Mumbai team.
The Indians will play their first one-day international, a day-
night affair, on October 5 against host South Africa at
Johannesburg. Kenya is the third team in the fray.
