Letters to the Editor
Sir, All the jingoistic cries from either side of the Indo-Pakistan border lead us nowhere. All except the leaders, secure in their cocoons with additional security, become cannon fodder. A septuagenarian wag perhaps hit the nail when he said: "If we really want to end all wars and once and for all, the leaders of the respective countries, like kings of yore, should lead their armies from the front, instead of proxying the job with their generals". Then they will think a hundred times about a war.
Natesan,
