CMs meet today on PWG menace
By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI, APRIL. 3. The Chief Ministers of the naxal violence-
affected States- Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra,
Orissa and Bihar- are to meet here tomorrow to fine- tune the
strategy to tackle Left wing extremism. The meeting, to be
chaired by the Union Home Minister, Mr. L. K. Advani, will be the
first one after the Andhra Pradesh Minister, Madhav Reddy, was
killed in a landmine explosion near Hyderabad by the People's War
Group (PWG) cadres.
PTI reports:
A report from Raipur said that the People's War Group had
threatened to blow up the Indira Gandhi Agriculture University if
the alleged large-scale corruption and exploitation of labourers
working there did not end.
