45 killed in road mishap
ALMORA (Uttar Pradesh), APRIL 28. Forty-five people were killed
and 15 injured when a bus, carrying a marriage party, fell into a
250-metre deep gorge on the Shashikhal-Ramnagar road, about 140
km from here, yesterday.
The driver of the overcrowded bus lost control of the vehicle and
it skidded off the road. While 44 died on the spot another
succumbed to injuries in hospital.
