West Indies calls up Sarwan

ST. JOHN'S, MAY 1. Guyanese batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan was named in a West Indies squad of 14 on Sunday to face Pakistan in the opening Test, starting in Georgetown on Friday.

The team: Jimmy Adams (captain), Sherwin Campbell, Adrian Griffith, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Wavell Hinds, Chris Gayle, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Ridley Jacobs, Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Franklyn Rose, Reon King, Nixon McLean and Mahendra Nagamootoo.
