Easy win for Kent

LONDON, MAY 2. Kent County Cricket Club registered an easy win
over Northamptonshire County Cricket Club in an one-day (45-
overs) Norwich Union National League game for Division two at
Canterbury on Monday afternoon.
Northants was skittled out for a paltry 76 in 40.4 overs. For
Kent B.J. Phillips was the most successful bowler taking four for
25 in seven overs.
The scores: Northants 76 in 40.4 overs (B.J. Phillips four for
25) lost to Kent 77 for three in 18.5 overs (R. Dravid 31 not
out).
