Rabri to file papers for Raghopur seat
HAJIPUR (BIHAR), MAY 6. The Bihar Chief Minister, Ms. Rabri Devi
will file her nomination papers for the by-election to the
Raghopur Assembly Constituency on Monday, where election is
scheduled to be held on May 26.
The seat fell vacant following the resignation of the RJD
Supremo, Mr. Laloo Prasad Yadav, from this seat who decided to
retain the Danapur seat which was also won by him in the last
Assembly polls.
The Bihar State RJD executive member, Mr. Binod Kumar Shrivastav
said here that a decision to this effect was taken in a meeting
and added that after filing her nomination papers, the Chief
Minister would address an election meeting here.
