Front Page \| Previous Yanam poll on June 30 By Our Special Correspondent NEW DELHI, JUNE. 2. Byelection for the Yanam Assembly constituency in Pondicherry will be held on June 30. With the Election Commission's announcement of the schedule today, the model code of conduct has come into effect in the district. The electronic voting machines will be used in the constituency and the voters should produce the identity card. If, for some reason, any voter has not been issued the card, he will have to produce documentary evidence for establishing his identity. The notification will be issued on June 5.
