Bail granted to Paritala

HYDERABAD, JUNE 2. The Fourth Additional Metropolitan Session Judge, Hyderabad, Mr. M. Shamala Rao, today granted anticipatory bail to the TDP MLA, Mr. Paritala Ravi, an accused in a murder case.

The Judge ordered that Mr. Ravi, elected from the Penukonda Assembly constituency in Anantapur district, should surrender before the Fifth Metropolitan Magistrate and execute a bond of Rs. one lakh and deposit Rs. 50,000 for ensuring his presence, according to PTI.

Police have booked a case against Ravi, under Section 302 of IPC read with Section 27 of the Arms Act and 120 (b) of IPC.

The Judge further ordered that Mr. Ravi should get two securities executed on his behalf for Rs. 50,000 each.

The Judge further ordered that Mr. Ravi should not leave his constituency without prior approval of the court and available at his constituency for interrogation by the police.

The Judge observed that the bail granted to Mr. Ravi stands cancelled the moment he violated any of these conditions.

The city police suspected the role of Ravi in the murder of one person who was one of the accused and acquitted in the Jubilee Hills bomb blast case.
