Paritala Ravindra surrenders

HYDERABAD, JUNE 6. The ruling party legislator from the Penukonda
constituency, Mr. Paritala Ravindra, an accused in the double
murder case under the Sanjeevareddy Nagar police station limits,
surrendered before the V Metropolitan Magistrate here on Tuesday.
Mr. Ravindra had already obtained an anticipatory bail in the
murder case. He was accused of having masterminded the murder of
Sivaprasad Reddy and Chandrashekhar Reddy at SR Nagar on April
26. Sivaprasad Reddy was one of the persons acquitted in the
Jubilee Hills car bomb blast case.
A five-member gang led by Prashant alias Kittu attacked
Sivaprasad and Chandrashekhar with knives and a firearm while the
latter were having food at a roadside kiosk at Erragadda. The
city police managed to nab Prashant and his associates. They
confessed to the police that they killed the duo at the behest of
Mr. Ravindra.
The Telugu Desam legislator, Mr. Paritala Ravindra, an accused in
a double murder case, surrendered before the Fifth Metropolitan
Magistrate in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
