India releases Pak. fisherman on humanitarian ground
ISLAMABAD, JUNE 13. India has released a detained Pakistani
fisherman, Mr. Shamsul Alam, who was suffering with cancer, on
humanitarian grounds. Mr. Shamsul arrived in Karachi by a PIA
flight from Mumbai yesterday and was received by the officials
of the fishermen cooperative society (FCS) at the airport.
The FCS had arranged a special medical team to look after the
fisherman.
