Mann at joint third
CALCUTTA, JUNE 13. India's Gurbaaz Mann with a round of four over
par 76 occupied the joint third place after the first round of
the Singapore Junior golf championship at the Jurong Country
Club, Singapore, on Tuesday, according to information reaching
the Indian Golf Union office here.
The defending champion Ashok Kumar of India had a poor round of
six over 78 and was tied at the seventh position. Wee Jason of
Malaysia and Liu Min-Yu of Chinese Taipei led the field of 60
jointly with score of one over par 73. The final round of the 54-
hole tournament, in which 12 countries were participating, would
be played on Friday.
The scores of other Indian players were as follows: Mohammed
Wazir 77, Jaskirat Dullet 81, Ranjit Singh 85, Manav Jaini 88 and
Balpreet Ghuman 94.
