Traffic diversions at Ambedkar statue

HYDERABAD, JUNE 29. In view of construction of flyover from Telugu Talli statue to lower Tank Bund, traffic will be regulated near Ambedkar statue. The traffic regulation will be imposed on a trial basis on July 1 and 2.

According to a press release, traffic proceeding towards RTC crossroads from lower Tank Bund and Kavadiguda should take a diversion from Ambedkar statue junction on the upper Tank Bund road, proceed till DBR Mills and take right turn to go towards RTC crossroads via Indira Park.

Traffic coming from RTC crossroads towards Liberty junction should take a left turn at street No. 15 and 16 of Gaganmahal, Indira Park crossroads and come out to the main stretch, Liberty road.

For the locally generated traffic of lower Tank Bund and all streets of Gaganmahal proceeding towards Kavadiguda and Indira Park should come out at Sagar fish stall near Ramakrishna Mission lane and proceed towards Pochamma Temple. Similarly, the traffic intending to go towards Liberty junction, Secretariat, should take left turn at Bharat Scouts and Guides.

The road would be closed in front of Sadhuram Eye Hospital to maintain one-way traffic from Ambedkar statue to Sadhuram Eye Hospital. At DBR Mills too, one-way traffic would be maintained. In view of the traffic diversions the existing closure of upper Tank Bund in mornings for walkers was suspended, the press release added.
