India increases contribution to U.N.

NEW YORK, AUG. 11. India has increased its contribution to the United Nations to $150,000 to assist small Commonwealth states run the joint secretariat for their U.N. missions.The cheque was presented at a brief ceremony at the secretariat here by the Indian Ambassador to the U.N., Mr. Kamalesh Sharma.
