Turner to handle airtime sales
NEW DELHI: Turner International India Private Limited - a
subsidiary of Turner Broadcasting System which is the promoter of
satellite channels such as CNN, Cartoon Network, TCM and HBO -
has decided to establish its own advertising sales team in India.
So far, MediaScope Associates were looking after the advertising
operations on behalf of Turner International. With its own team
now looking after advertising operations, Turner International
plans to open sales offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and
Mumbai to manage airtime sales of the four channels being aired
by Turner as well as any future channel that might be launched by
the group.
