Ganguly, Satyapragyan and Bakre in lead
By Raghunandan Gokhale
MUMBAI, SEPT. 2. Second seeded IM Surya Sekhar Ganguly (3.5) of
India led the Indian juggernaught by outplaying IM Ghaem Maghami
(2.5) of Iran in the fourth round of Asian junior chess
championship here on Saturday.
Former winner IM Tejas Bakre (3.5) and S. Satyapragyan (3.5) are
the other co-leaders in the boys section as top seeded
Harikrishna (3) was held to a draw by team mate S.R. Kidambi (3).
In the girls' section, former World under-12 girls' champion IWM
Koneru Humpy (4) defeated former bronze medallist Tania Sachdev
(3) to gain a full point lead over the field.
Ghaem offered a draw on 16th move but Ganguly, the former World
under-10 runner-up had scented blood. He went for a kill with his
