Supplementary counselling schedule

CHENNAI, SEPT. 23. The schedule with minimum marks for the supplementary counselling sessions for seats surrendered by minority institutions and seats available on account of starting of new colleges/courses, to be held at the Examination Centre, Anna University, is as follows:

September 27: 10-30 a.m. minimum marks 279.00; 2 p.m - 274.00 and 4 p.m. - 271.00.

September 28: 8-30 a.m. minimum marks 268.00; 10-30 a.m. - 262.00; 2 p.m.- 257.00 and 4 p.m.- 251.00.

September 29: 8-30 a.m. minimum marks 245.00; 10-30 a.m.- 237.00; 2 p.m.- 229.00 and 4 p.m.- 220.00.

September 30: 8-30 a.m. minimum marks 211.00; 10-30 a.m.- 206.00; 2 p.m.- 201.00 and 4 p.m.- 195.00.

October 1: 8-30 a.m. minimum marks 189.00; 10-30 a.m. - 179.00 and 2 p.m. - 98.08.

A Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions press release said candidates who had applied for selection and given a rank were eligible to appear for this supplementary counselling. The consequential vacancies arising out of this counselling and allotment would not be filled by further counselling.

Candidates should bring their previously issued call letters along with the required original/attested copies of certificates. They should also furnish a demand draft for Rs.5,000 ( Rs. 1,000 in case of Tamil Nadu ST and SC candidates) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Anna University. Cash payment is also acceptable. In case candidates joined the college allotted to them, the deposits would be adjusted in the fees payable to the colleges, failing which it would be forfeited.

The supplementary counselling is for 869 free seats and 1,009 payment seats in 42 institutions.
