1 killed in firing: partial response to Bihar bandh

PATNA, SEPT. 23. A CPI-ML supporter was killed and another
injured when the police opened fire at Bauchan in Muzaffarpur
districts to disperse a mob gathered to block a road for
enforcing the Bihar bandh in protest against rising police
atrocities.Police lathicharged CPI-ML supporters in the State
capital as well. The bandh supporters detained several trains at
various places. The bandh evoked partial response.
