Artlogin.com from Tulsyan
CHENNAI: Tulsyan Technologies, a part of the diversified Tulsyan
group, has set up Artlogin.com, the newest cyberspace gallery.
Besides the routine features, Artlogin.com will focus on
contemporary art, selling of art work and educating art buff on
its nuances. According to Mr. Sanjay Tulsyan, Vice-President of
the group, Artlogin.com will sell art work both online and
offline. Artlogin.com, says Mr. Tulsyan, has commitment from 200
top Indian artists to the site. It also has an advisory panel of
top artists who will interact with site.
Credence launches inTreasury.com
MUMBAI: Credence Analytics has launched inTreasury.com, a portal
dedicated exclusively to the money markets. According to a press
release issued here by Credence Analytics, Dealers, bond and
security traders, fund managers and corporate treasury managers
can log in and have access to the similar data and analytical
tools from inTreasury.com that the bigger treasuries use in form
of subscription based wire and information services, according to
a release. The portal also offers a unique portfolio management
module, which is backed by extensive database of over seven years
on the Indian money markets.
ING declares dividend on Income Portfolio
MUMBAI: ING Savings Trust has declared a half-yearly post tax
dividend of 28 paise per unit (on face value of Rs. 10 per unit)
under the Income Option of its open-ended income scheme, ING
Income Portfolio. The dividend is payable to all unitholders as
on the record date of September 27. The net asset value (NAV) of
ING Income Portfolio (Income Option) on the record date was Rs.
10.43.
NSE ready with 'options' software
NEW DELHI: NEW DELHI: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is
awaiting the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI)
green signal for starting trade in index options, the second
derivative product after index futures, by this fiscal. ``We are
ready with the necessary software for options trade in the
exchange. The exchange is waiting for the SEBI green signal,''
NSE vice president Mr. M. L. Soneji told PTI here. The software
for options trade is being developed by NSE's software arm NSE.IT
and Tata Consultancy Services.
DP services in rural Bengal planned
CALCUTTA: The Calcutta Stock Exchange is planning to approach
commercial banks to pursue them to set up depository participant
(DP) services in rural areas of West Bengal. The newly-appointed
president of the CSE, Mr. Kamal Parekh, said, ``We think that the
CSE can reach the rural investors of the State in the changed
dematerialised trading scenario only if DPs are available in the
districts." Mr. Parekh said that the exchange was planning to set
up at least 100 terminals in various districts of the State in an
effort to increase its retail business volume and this was not
possible if DPs were not there.
Indian School of Business Dean
MUMBAI: The Indian School of Business (ISB), the first
international business school in India, has announced the
appointment of Prof. Sumantra Ghoshal as founding Dean. Prof.
Ghoshal holds the Robert P. Bauman Chair in Strategic Leadership
at the London Business School (LBS) where he is a member of the
Strategy and International Management faculty.
DoT order for Paramount
NEW DELHI: Paramount Communications, a fast growing telecom cable
company, has received Rs. 120 crore order from the Department of
Telecommuncations (DoT) for supplying jelly filled cables in the
current fiscal. With this order from DoT, Paramount hopes to
achieve more than 60 per cent growth in turnover at the end of
this fiscal. Paramount, which manufactures optical fibres and
other telecom cables, has recently obtained a licence for
operating as an Internet service provider (ISP) from DoT,
according to a company release.
