Inspector, wife shot dead by militants
GUWAHATI, OCT. 4. The police circle inspector of Hamren
subdivision of Karbi Anglong hill district, Mr. Girin Buragohain,
and his wife were killed on the spot and his PSO and driver were
seriously injured when suspected UPSD militants ambushed their
vehicle and sprayed them with bullets around 1100 hrs this
morning near Cheksupathar when they were going to Dongamoka.
