Rival teams raring to go
By Our Special Correspondent
NAIROBI, OCT. 14. The rival camps are ready. The Kiwis trained in
the morning and the Indians preferred a light workout in the
evening.
``After a match it becomes a tiring exercise to have full-fledged
nets session'' remarked skipper Sourav Ganguly. ``It looks a
belter he quipped after a look at the pitch for the ICC Knockout
tournament final against New Zealand here. ``There is nothing
like winning and we have one game to go. New Zealand is a good
side and we have to watch out for Twose and McMillan. He added.
Kiwi skipper Stephen Fleming said his chances depended on how the
bowlers fared. ``India has probably the best batting line up in
the world and it all depends on how our bowlers contain them.''
Fleming asserted ``the occasion has fired us and we are ready for
the game. I am happy with the team has fared thus far. We do have
a plan to contain the Indians but they have the batsmen to upset
any plans. We will try a few things.
