Crorepati programmes

Sir, - This is my humble opinion on the crorepati programmes. By just answering a few questions a person is able to become a millionaire without any hard work. Where does the cash come from? How is it disbursed? All under wraps. If at all the money has to be spent, there are so many constructive means by which the downtrodden, poor, handicapped, etc., could be helped.

This programme almost encourages everyone to waste his time uselessly. Especially, students like me are of the opinion that if we study general knowledge only , it is enough to become a crorepati. Hence ignoring their duty of studying properly, they divert themselves towards this which is not healthy. It is surprising to note that even guides are published and made available in the market.

Nancy Samuel,

Chennai
