ICICI launches billjunction.com

CALCUTTA: ICICI has launched billjunction.com here, a B2B portal created to facilitate payment of bills of various utilities such as power and telephone. The chief executive officer of ICICI Eco- net, ICICI's subsidiary looking into the company e-commerce initiatives, Ms. Renuka Ramnath, said the portal had already tied up with service providers such as CESC, Spice Cell, Command Cell, and Internet service providers such as VSNL, Satyam Infoway, Roltanet and Only Smart, for payment of bills through the net. Talks with Calcutta telephones were at an advanced stage in this regard, she said.
