L&T Trade.com begins operations

MUMBAI, OCT. 19. Larsen & Toubro and BlueStone Capital Partners
L.P. of the U.S. (Trade.com) today commenced financial services
under aegis of their joint venture, L&T Trade.com Ltd.
L&T Trade.com offers to investors, securities trading on the
National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange, via the
Internet. In addition, other financial services and products will
form part of the suite of financial services on offer at
www.lttrade.com. Broadly these would be under the heads of B2C
(business to customer) B2B (business to business).
The B2C products would include fixed income securities, mutual
funds, equity research, currencies, loans and private placements.
The B2B products would include inter-corporate deposits exchange,
venture capital funds, Bizplan Bazaar (a market place for angel
investors/VCs and entrepreneurs), corporate bonds and initial
public offerings (IPOs).
