Police officer suspended

RANCHI, DEC. 4. The Jharkhand Chief Minister, Mr. Babulal Marandi, today said one police officer was suspended while four persons were arrested in connection with the alleged rape and assualt on the inmates of a missionary girls school in Bokaro district early hours on Saturday.

Condemning the assault on the inmates of St. Anna's Girls' High School at Kurpania, Mr. Marandi told reporters after a Cabinet meeting that the culprits would be dealt with toughly.
