ULFA guns down 26

GUWAHATI, DEC. 7. In the continuing massacre of non-Assamese
people, a five-man group of ULFA militants gunned down 26 persons
and injured 16 others, mostly Hindi and Bengali-speaking, at
Sonpura near Arunachal border in Upper Assam around 5.30 p.m.
today.
This is the highest number of killing in a day since the
massacres started on October 22.
Official sources said the victims were coming from a weekly
market at Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh.
