By Our Corporate Reporter

Reuters and RiteChoice Technologies have hosted e-broking service and enabled Stock markit.com, the premier online financial services trading website of the Apeejay Surendra group to commence online trading on the National Stock Exchange.

Addressing a press conference, Mr. I. P. Morris, Director, RiteChoice Technologies said the back hand service, MTEX, (managed trade execution service) of RTL provides a cost- effective risk management and trade completion facility to stockbrokers using the Reuters electronic broker servers. RTL aims to enhance the risk management features in the next few months and add wide spectrum of trading products as and when these are permitted and supported by the NSE. Mr. Asoka Markandu, Marketing Manager of Reuters India said the company was offering secure and stable end-to-end solutions for the Apeejay Surendra group. Besides hosting and managing the online trading solution, Reuters will also deliver real-time and historical equity prices and news to retail clients.

Mr. Sarvadaman Ray, Director, Stockmarkit.com said the company took a conscious decision in choosing RiteChoice and Reuters for providing the technology. To trade online, a client must first register onsite. Registered clients will then be assisted by Stockmarkit executives for the opening of trading, demat and bank accounts in either Citibank N.A, Standard Chartered Bank or HDFC Bank. The client receives the trading pin number from the backoffice.
