Proceedings stayed
AHMEDABAD, DEC. 14. The Gujarat High Court has stayed all
proceedings against former Health Minister of the State, Mr.
Ashok Bhatt, the former Union Minister of State for Defence, Mr.
Haren Pathak, and seven others for their alleged involvement in
the murder of a constable in the city during the anti-reservation
stir in 1985. Admitting a miscellaneous criminal application
filed by the accused on Wednesday, Mr. Justice A. K. Trivedi,
posted the matter for final hearing on December 26.
