Bharat Shah arrested
MUMBAI, JAN. 8. The diamond merchant and film financier, Mr.
Bharat Shah, was today arrested for his alleged nexus with the
Karachi-based gangster, Chhota Shakeel, and remanded to police
custody till January 18, by a special court here.
His lawyer, Mr. Sirish Gupte, moved a bail application before the
designated Judge, Mr. A.P. Bhangale, who however rejected it.
