Bomb hoax at BJP office

By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI, JAN. 12. A phone call warning of a bomb explosion at the BJP central office on Ashoka Road here proved to be a hoax.

Senior police officers reached the spot and started search operations. They were soon joined by the Bomb Disposal Squad. For over an hour about 30 personnel searched the premises, but in vain.

As a precautionary measure, police personnel were also rushed to the Delhi BJP unit office at 14 Pandit Pant Marg. Later security on both the premises was tightened by the police.
