SC gives time to Kerala
NEW DELHI, JAN. 12. The Supreme Court has given six weeks to
Kerala to file its response to an expert committee report on the
fitness of the Periyar dam. The committee was constituted at the
direction of the court.
A Division Bench, comprising the Chief Justice, Mr. A. S. Anand,
and Mr. Justice R. C. Lahoti, noted that all other States
concerned had filed their responses.
