AAAA Council meeting today
NEW DELHI, JAN. 12. The 50th Council meeting of the Asian Amateur
Athletic Association (AAAA) will be held here on Saturday.
This is the first Council meeting of the AAAA since Mr. Suresh
Kalmadi took over as the president of the Asian body.
Among the topics listed for discussion there is a proposal to
conduct an Asian all-star meet. The meeting will also nominate a
three-member panel to select the Asian team for the Afro-Asian
Games to be held here from November 3 to 11.
