The week ahead
AT the end of this week the Sun moves from conservative Capricorn
to unpredictable and sometimes outrageous Aquarius. As a result,
your daily outlook and focus will make a similar shift. Aquarius
rules progress, both social and technological. It is a very
social sign that tends to be concerned with the good of the whole
community rather than just itself. Everyone can learn and benefit
from some of Aquarius's humanitarian characteristics, which
include a strong desire for social change as well as an
understanding that movement and progress are the cornerstones of
a developing society. This week, spend some time deciding how you
can work towards social or political progress in your
neighbourhood.
Queries answered
A Mithuna Lagna native has Rahu in the Seventh, and Jupiter
stands debilitated in Makara. Can the ill-effects of these
positions be overcome?
N. Prabhakar, Nagercoil.
The ill-effects can affect the native's Kalathra Bhava (relating
to spouse) as also relationships with friends and business
partners. Rahu in Dhanus by itself may not be too bad, but the
debilitation of Jupiter (owner of the Seventh and the Tenth) in
the Eighth can create hard setbacks if the Lagna lord and
Kalathra Karaka are not very strong. Of course, if there is
Neecha Bhanga Raja Yogam in the horoscope, most of the ill-
effects can be well tided over. Prayers are sure to help such a
native when offered on Thursdays to Jupiter, Lakshmi Hayagreeva,
Dakshinamoorthi and Muruga in Tirucchendur.
