NLFT ultras kill man for not giving ransom
AGARTALA, JAN. 26. National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT)
guerillas killed one person at Fatikroy in north Tripura
yesterday, the police said here today.
The ultras kidnapped the deceased from his house, chopped off his
head in a nearby jungle and then sent it along with a letter to
his family.
The letter said he was punished for not giving ransom to the
militants.
Security forces recovered the head and the letter today and a
search was on to nab the militants.
In another incident, a businessman was murdered here last night.
The reason was not yet known.
