Bofors case adjourned
By Amit Baruah
SINGAPORE, JAN. 31 The extradition proceedings against Mr.
Ottavio Quattrocchi, the Italian national wanted by the CBI in
the Bofors case, were adjourned till February 10 by the sessions
court judge, Mr. Akhtar Bin Tahir.
The court extended the bail granted to Mr. Quattrocchi, arrested
on the orders of the Malaysian Government, till February 10.
The judge made it clear that if the defence had any preliminary
objections, these should be made on February 10 or else he would
continue with the main extradition proceedings.
