Website on peace initiatives in J&K

NEW DELHI, FEB. 1. Peace campaign in Jammu and Kashmir goes online with the launch of a website to make known the sufferings caused by conflict and promote peace initiatives in the trouble- torn State.

``We are undertaking an online peace campaign to bring together people across the globe to endorse the Government's initiative for the prosperity of South Asia at large,'' Lt. Gen. Satish Nambiar said, launching the website on Wednesday.

The launch of `path2peace' comes close on the heels of the Prime Minister, Mr. A. B. Vajpayee's peace initiative by extending the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir. It is conceptualised and developed by a Delhi-based software solutions and learning company magic software.
