Time to sing along

IT IS a show for children. In aid of deprived children. Reach Out is back with yet another edition of its famed Sing Along programme. To be presented from February 22 to 24 (morning shows for schools on February 22 and 23 and public shows in the evening on February 23 and 24), Sing Along is part of Reach Out's endeavour to make learning a fun-filled experience for young ones.

The vibrant team of performers will be led by Krishna Iyer. The other performers are Jeeva Raghunath, Rithwick Raghunath, Abhishek, Jayanthi and Chandra. They will be accompanied by Nirmal (bass guitar), Ian (rhythms), Joshua (keyboards) and Davidson (drums). Apart from the usual repertoire of racy numbers, new ones have been added to give freshness to the programme. Nursery rhymes, action songs and other items of interest will encourage the child to actively participate in the programme.

Sing Along is an annual event organised in February. This performance marks its seventh year. Reach Out works for sexually abused children. It also helps children enjoy quality relationships with their parents and other people in their lives. Part of the show proceeds will go to the Gujarat quake victims.

Tickets are available at Odyssey, Music World, Connexions and Good Books.
