Tuskers trample man to death

ITANAGAR, FEB. 18. A forest department employee was killed by a herd of wild elephants at Pakoi Wildlife Sanctuary in east Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday night.

The employee, Bhatira Bangrang, was trampled to death by the tuskers at Pakoi sanctuary in Numorah range under Khellong forest division, a forest department official said. The tuskers also damaged many Government buildings last night, divisional forest officer of the sanctuary, Mr. Chukhu Loma told PTI over telephone from Seijusa, east Kameng forest department headquarters.
