Case against Bajrang Dal leader registered

HYDERABAD, MARCH 19. The City Police Commissioner, Mr. P. Ramulu,
on Monday said that a case has been registered against Dr.
Surender Jain, national convener of Bajrang Dal, for making
certain provocative statements which were likely to offend the
sentiments of a community.
He said the case against Dr. Jain had been registered under
Section 295 (a) relating to provocative statements, at Sultan
Bazar Police Station and it was being investigated. Action would
be taken against the person concerned in accordance with the law
after due enquiry.
Mr. Ramulu appealed to the people not to be carried away by such
statements, as prompt action was taken by a registering a case,
and maintain communal harmony and peace.
