Sehwag injured, to miss remaining one-dayers
MUMBAI, MARCH 26. Virender Sehwag, who made 58 and picked up
three wickets in the first one-day International aginst Australia
at Bangalore on Monday, has been declared unfit for the rest of
the one-day series.
He hurt the thumb of his bowling hand while fielding. An X-ray at
orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Sachin Tapasvi's clinic here confirmed
the worst fears of a multiple fracture. He is to undergo surgery
in New Delhi on Wednesday and will be out of action for two
months.
