Moopanar rejects charge
By T. Ramakrishnan
CHENNAI, APRIL 30. The TMC president, Mr. G.K. Moopanar, today
rejected the charge of the Chief Minister, Mr.M. Karunanidhi,
that he denigrated Kamaraj by drawing a comparison with Ms.
Jayalalitha.
He reminded Mr. Karunanidhi of how he had hounded out the late
Congress leader when he contested for the Nagercoil Lok Sabha
seat.
Launching his election campaign here, Mr. Moopanar said ``As an
old Congressman, I know how the DMK and Mr. Karunanidhi carried
on a vicious campaign against the late Kamaraj. I don't want to
say anything more''.Urging the voters to support the candidates
of the AIADMK-led front, the TMC leader said, ``MGR rule should
be restored and Ms. Jayalalitha should be made the Chief Minister
again''.
