Entries invited for KU awards

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MAY 8. The University of Kerala has invited entries for the Maharaja Marthanda Varma Prize, to be awarded to the best literary criticism in English, published in 1996 or 1997. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 2,000.

Entries have also been invited for the Maharani Sethu Parvathi Bai Prize for the year 1998, to be awarded to the best research paper on the industrial sector in Kerala.

The entries for both the awards should be typewritten or in the printed form. Five copies, accompanied by the declaration of the author to the effect that it is his or her own work and has not been selected for any award earlier, should reach the Registrar of the university, by May 31.
