'A perfect science'
AFTER THE UGC announcement that they are introducing the courses
in astrology in universities, a large number of people have
expressed their grave concern about this decision in this
newspaper. They have cited all sorts of distortions to debunk
astrology. As usual they have commended Prof. Stephen Hawking,
eminent British physicist, for debunking astrology. In fact,
critics are mostly relying on the experiments of forecasts made
on the basis of the western astrologers.
To establish the scientific character of the Indian system of
astrology I started the Baba Ji magazine in English in 1981 and
in Hindi in 1992. These are published every month since then. In
these magazines forecasts about countries and prominent leaders
of the important countries of the world are recorded. In each
issue the important events of the countries are compared with the
forecasts recorded in the Baba Ji.
The predictions fulfilled include election of four Presidents of
the U.S., the Prime Ministers and the Presidents of India, a
large number of earthquakes, calamities occurring in the
countries, military operations, change of governments,
assassinations, etc. A few latest instances are:
Bangladesh occupation of Indian territory (April 15, 2001)
Covering forecast - ``At 11-45 hours on March 1, 2001 I hereby
reveal that a cosmic writ has been issued that some territory of
India will be usurped or occupied by some other country or its
people or even refugees between March 25 and April 23, 2001.
There is no saving element.'' (Volume 212 of the Baba Ji released
on March 1, 2001).
Earthquake in Gujarat (January 26, 2001)
Covering forecast - ``India - The planetary configurations reveal
that within about one month from December 25, 2000 some
explosions, fires and violence may be feared. Some calamity like
earthquake cannot be ruled out.'' (Volume 210 of the Baba Ji
released on December 14, 2000).
``A strange tragedy is possible on January 26, 2001. Around 10-
00 a.m. this news will cause much frustration. This will be the
time to pray which may reduce the impact but the tragedy cannot
be averted. It shall take place on January 26, 2001 around 9-25
a.m. (Volume 73 of the Baba Ji (Hindi) released on January 7,
2001).
Election of George Bush as U.S. President (December, 2000)
Covering forecast - ``At 12-05 hours on October 1, 2000 I hereby
reveal the cosmic writ that George Bush Junior will be elected on
November 7, 2000 and become the President of the U.S.
Congratulation in anticipation.'' (Violume 208 of the Baba Ji
released on October 4, 2000)
Military rule in Pakistan (October 12, 1999)
Covering forecast - ``Pakistan - The planetary configurations
reveal that the entire government is likely to be sacked between
September 10 and December 8, 1999. The government will not be
able to pay adequate attention to its responsibilities. Some sort
of set-back to the government is almost certain before November
8, 1999. Ultimately the military may be compelled to take over
the administration.'' (Volume 196 of the Baba Ji released on
September 12, 1999).
It is not correct to say that astrology is a series of untested
assumptions. In volume 100 of the Baba Ji released in September,
1989 I predicted that there will be following nine major events
in the last month of the century and after ten years each of the
prediction came true.
Period around the last month of the 20th Century - Predictions
295. Earthquake explosions, mining disasters and fires in the
public places are feared.
296. Violence is likely to escalate suddenly.
297. Foreign elements will play very forceful role in creating
disorder in the country.
298. Exchange of fire with some foreign country cannot be ruled
out.
299. The U.K. and Japan may get annoyed with India and express
their open dissatisfaction.
300. India may be involved in some sort of misadventure in
foreign affairs.
301. The government will suffer and some of its important members
may be distressed or sacked or pass away.
302. Some trade or commercial agreement may run into hot water
and may be threatened to be scrapped.
303. Some important ladies of the land will face most challenging
developments and may suffer or distressed.
An offer
The scientists from all over the world are requested to check the
forecasts made in 289 volumes of the Baba Ji and the covering
events and may decide whether thousands of accurate predictions
could be made without a scientific base. Further I offer myself
to reveal several important past events of any healthy living
eminent person of social status who may not be known to me if his
correct birth data are given to me. I also offer to reveal some
important events expected in the near future of some countries of
mutual choice. I will give the prediction supported by the
scientific astrological principles. This will help them to
understand the scientific character of the astrology. I am sure
my prediction will be fulfilled to their satisfaction and they
will realise that astrology is a perfect science and not a farce.
I shall complete the job within one month on receipt of the
demand of any important recognised scientific organisation of the
world.
