Post-poll clash in Bengal
DIAMOND HARBOUR (WB), MAY 15. Five Trinamool Congress activists
were beaten up, allegedly by CPI(M) cadres, while bombs were
hurled at a CPI(M) party office in separate post poll incidents
in South 24 Parganas last night, the police said.
The Trinamool Congress set up a road blockade this morning at
Sonarpur in protest against the alleged assault on its supporters
at Bhangur. It was lifted after police intervention.
