SAY lists at $11.4 on NYSE

HYDERABAD, MAY 15. Satyam Computer Services began trading on the
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) today under the symbol ``SAY''.
The opening price quoted at the exchange was $11.4.
A press release of the company issued here on Tuesday said the
price to the public per ADS was $9.71 and Satyam offered 14.5
million ADSs to investors (excluding a greenshoe option of 15 per
cent). Each ADS represents two equity shares of Satyam, which are
already traded on the BSE, NSE and the HSE, it said.
At the end of the road show it was over-subscribed by over seven
times. Of this more than two times was from the retail segment.
There was about 100 institutional investors and more than 2000
retail investors from the U.S. itself.
