Silent over sleuths' visit
MUMBAI, JUNE 25. The Board of Control for Cricket in India
officials here were tight-lipped about the visit to their office
by the CBI sleuths from Delhi today.
The BCCI executive secretary, Mr. Sharadh Diwadkar, said it was
just a `courtesy call' and `we invited them' headed by the Deputy
Superintendent, Mr. Nikhil Duggal.
The CBI officers were here to get information about the
whereabouts of a bookie involved in the match-fixing scandal, and
make an enquiry about the telecast rights sold by the board's top
officials, sources said.
