The process of adopting QS 9000 started in June 2000. TUV Rhineland conducted a pre-assessment audit in November 2000. It performed the final assessment of the processes and systems at TVSE Guindy plant in Chennai and recommended certification. There will be surveillance assessment every year and re-certification after three years.
