Live and let her not live!
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD, JULY 13. The refusal of a woman to continue
relationship with her erstwhile live-in companion cost her life,
when the man stabbed her to death at the BJR College bus stop
this morning even as fellow passengers watched in horror.
The passengers watched in disbelief the assailant, K.N. Yadilal
(28), jump into a moving bus. But, he was later nabbed by a
traffic constable, Digambar Singh, who, too, got onto the bus.
The woman, Bogi Sadalakshmi (48), died on the spot.
Yadilal talked to the woman for sometime, trying to convince her
to stay with him, at the bus stop before whipping out a knife and
stabbing her repeatedly. The woman was his live-in companion
despite being elder to him. Some three years ago the couple
stopped living together, but the relationship continued.
The assailant, an Intermediate drop-out, later told police the
that he met Sadalakshmi about eight years ago and she had
promised to get him some employment. Their friendship thickened
and they started living together. But the affair ended abruptly
with the woman deciding to break away.
Yadilal also told the police that his former friend was refusing
to return his certificates.
