Sai and Rushmi bow out
NEW DELHI, JULY 23. Sai Jayalakshmy and Rushmi Chakravarti lost
2-6, 1- 6 to the second-seeded Adrienn Hegedus and Eszter Molnar
of Hungary in the quarterfinals of the $ 25,000 ITF women's
circuit tennis tournament in Valladolid, Spain, last week.
The Indian pair collected six WTA points and $ 200 for its
effort.
The Indian players, including Shruti Dhawan, had failed to cross
a long-drawn qualifying event in singles.
